Tried it yesterday for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality or the food. The meals had quite a unique flavour which we really enjoyed. Will be going back.

The service and atmosphere are warm and really great. There was a mistake where the kitchen made the wrong order, but it was corrected instantly and I was provided with hot tea as a complementary service I think, which was wonderful and has a slight flavor of mint. The seafood gargoulette was perfectly seasoned and the ingredients are fresh, though I had to order bread to ensure I felt full enough. I wasn’t even charged for the bread, maybe due to the early mishap, and was offered jasmine water on my hands before leaving, which smelled wonderful and shows how friendly the service is. I would love to come back again!

Welcoming and warm space to enjoy wonderful Tunisian dishes with friends. Loved everything including the mixed salad, honey lamb and pistachio dessert. Will definitely be back!!

My family & I had a fantastic experience last evening. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and welcoming—it feels like you've been invited into someone's home. The presentation was unique and everything tastes great. The staff were warm and attentive, explaining the menu with genuine passion. A must-visit! Highly recommended!

The food was super tasty and the vibe was amazing: We had the couscous with lamb and it was amazing , the meat was super tender coming off the bone with zero effort, very flavorful and simply well balanced , not overly spicy so it suits all palettes, the quantity was generous so I recommend going starving to inhale everything We tried also the Tunisian Brik: with shrimps as well as the classic one with Tuna and it was great, make sure to squeeze lemon on it before eating it. The cherry on top was la crème brûlée au pistache , a piece of heaven , it was not planned but we had to try it , light , fresh, not too sweet , just perfect for someone who enjoys dessert without feeling guilty, every bite was enjoyable and we had also the Tunisian tea! My friend had the homemade lemonade which was also super fresh and yummy Overall we had the full Tunisian experience with great choice of music , not too loud which makes conversation flow easily ! We are definitely going back

We ate at Terracotta our first night in Montreal and it did not disappoint! We got a table right away, the server was fantastic; she was kind, helpful, and gave really great recommendations. We ordered the mechouia salad to share and then my husband got the fruits de mer (seafood) gargoulette and loved it, I got the poulet (chicken) ojja which I also loved but it was very spicy so make sure you’re up for that! The only downside of our experience is we were seated next to their trash (maybe recycling?) bins and it got a little smelly at times. The food and cheerful waitress made this easy to overlook but it was a bummer especially when dining.

Tunisia was once a French colony, so the cuisine is also deeply influenced by French cuisine. Lamb is a "meat with personality", either you like it or you hate it, there is no middle zone. The clay pot lamb is great, with plenty of ingredients and full of flavor. Tunisian shrimp brik is similar to Taiwan's oyster omelette, which is made with shrimps and soft-boiled eggs, then wrapped in pancakes, salty and delicious.
